Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow to work under the project titled “Development of a multigrid algorithm for unstructured grid finite volume CFD solver”, in the School of Mechanical Sciences, IIT Goa. The project is sponsored by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Government of India.
1. Position: Junior Research Fellow
2. No of Post: 01
3. Nature of work: The selected candidate will be working on data-driven acceleration of CFD solvers. He/she will implement unstructured grid solvers on large scale parallel HPCs, and will have opportunities to interact with the ISRO team.
4. Duration of Appointment: One year. Appointment may be extended further based on performance.
5. Essential qualification: -Bachelors/Master’s degree in Mechanical or allied branches of engineering. (Those who are completing the degree by June 2022 can also apply.) - A GATE score. -Working experience in a CFD project
6. Desirable: -Programming in C++ / python -Exposure to parallel programming.
7. Salary: 31,000/- P.M. (As per norms)
