Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Eligibility for Assistant Superintendent (Stores/Commercial)

• Essential Qualification: Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) OR Graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Commercial/Supply Chain Management/Materials management/Logistics management/other relevant qualification equivalent to 01-year Diploma in Material Management from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: Minimum 2 Years Post qualification relevant work experience.
• Desirable: 2 years Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Commercial/Supply Chain Management. Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Eligibility for Structural Fitter

• Essential Qualification: ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in Structural Fitter/Fitter/Fitter General/Sheet Metal Worker trade.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience in the line.
• Desirable: Preference for NAC in Shipbuilding Industry or relevant experience in Public Sector/Private Shipyards/Naval Workshops. Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Eligibility for Welder

• Essential Qualification: ITI in the trade of Welder.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience in the line.
• Desirable: Preference for NAC in Shipbuilding Industry or relevant experience in Public Sector/Private Shipyards/Naval Workshops. Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Eligibility for Technical Assistant (Mechanical)

• Essential Qualification: Minimum 03 years full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in the line.
• Desirable: Ability to work on Auto CAD. Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Eligibility for Shipwright Fitter

• Essential Qualification: SSC with Training Certificate from Deck/Engine department.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience in the line/trade from Shipbuilding Industry.
• Desirable: Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Eligibility for Assistant Superintendent (Finance)

• Essential Qualification: Graduate having passed Intermediate examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Institute of Cost Accountants of India OR MBA Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification relevant work experience in Finance function.
• Desirable: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Finance recognized by Govt of India. Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Eligibility for Junior Supervisor (Safety - Mechanical)

• Essential Qualification: Minimum 03 years’ full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and one-year full time Diploma in Industrial Safety awarded by Board of Technical Education of any State Government/Union territory or CLI, RLI (Ministry of Labour).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification relevant work experience.
• Desirable: Adequate working knowledge of Konkani/Marathi along with Hindi & English.

Age Limit (as on 30.11.2025)

• Assistant Superintendent (Stores/Commercial): 38 years
• Structural Fitter: 38 years
• Welder: 38 years
• Technical Assistant (Mechanical): 38 years
• Shipwright Fitter: 38 years
• Assistant Superintendent (Finance): 36 years
• Junior Supervisor (Safety - Mechanical): 36 years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for Ex-Servicemen/Agniveer and PwBD candidates as per Govt guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection process shall consist of:

• Written test (CBT/Pen Paper based)
• Document Verification
• Skill/Trade test

The written test will consist of 25% General Aptitude and 75% subject/trade related questions.
