Skills / Eligibility
Subject: Applications invited for the post of GIS/Geoinformatics Manager, on a time-limited contract. 1. Position: GIS/Geoinformatics Technical Manager 2. Name of Project: Surveying and GIS mapping 3. Anticipated start date ASAP 4. Position term: 6 months, extendable to one year, or until project end, subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding. 5. Qualifications Essentials: Degree or Advanced Certificate (more than a month course) / Diploma in GIS/Geoinformatics; AND a Bachelor’s degree. 6. Desirables: At least six-months experience on a project, in preparing GIS maps, geo-tagging, or related work. Experience in mapping and ground truthing, cartography, digitizing of maps. Ability to read and interpret Urdu. A full degree such as a Master’s in Geoinformatics or related field. 7. Remuneration: Lump sum: Rs. 45000 per month
