Applications are invited for empanelment of Advocates/ Law firm at IIT Ropar – Technology and Innovation Foundation. IIT Ropar – TIF is looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual(s) to be a part of our journey towards a sustainable future. 1. Post Name: Advocates 2. Location : IIT Ropar – Technology and Innovation Foundation (TIF), a section – 8 company. 3. Tenure/term of Empanelment: The initial empanelment will be for one year or until further orders whichever is earlier. Performance of empanelled advocates shall be reviewed on annual basis. However, on completion of the term and satisfactory performance of the advocate, the empanelment may be renewed for a period of another one year by the company. 4. Eligibility for Empanelment (i) The advocates or member of the firm should be registered members of Bar Council of India. (ii) The Advocates should be familiar with various branches of law especially those concerning Companies law, taxation laws, constitutional /service law, labor law, contract law, commercial law, Information technology & Cyber laws, Intellectual Property laws, Property Due Diligence and any other laws of the land, etc. (iii) In addition to above, the Advocates are required to have the minimum professional/court experience in similar nature of companies.
