Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech

Applications are invited under the sponsored project. The details of the project are as under:

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow

2. Number of Position (s): Two

3. Title of The Project:

Development of guidelines for delineation of water stressed areas and designing of environmental friendly water storage structure for meeting the water needs in mining areas.

4. Tenure of Project: Three Years (the position is temporary and co-terminus with the project).

5. Job Description (in maximum of 100 words):

a. We are looking for experienced, proactive TWO no. of Junior Research Fellow to work collaboratively with our team in the above mentioned research project.

b. The candidate should have the knowledge of water resource management, remote sensing & GIS, resistivity tomography data acquisition and remain active in the overall implementation of the project i.e., in timely collection of samples and its analysis in the lab apart from the other Field works.

c. The candidate should have efficiency in computer typing, graph preparation and working with Excel, Power Point etc.

6. Essential Qualification:

The applicant should have good academic record throughout with M .Tech. degree through GATE/NET with specialization in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/Civil/ Environmental Science & Engineering/ or M.Sc. in Environmental Science/M. Sc. or M.Sc. Tech. in Geology / Geophysics

7. Desirable Qualification: Having 2-3 years research experience in Remote Sensing & GIS/ resistivity tomography data acquisition with experience in the relevant areas

8. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/= p.m. (First two years) and Rs 35,000/= pm (Third year)
