1. Name of the Post: Project Associate-II

2. No of Post: 01

3. Project: Improving the Economic Well-Being of Scheduled Tribe Communities (ST) Using Game Theoretic and Operations Research Techniques in Jamtara District of Jharkhand State.

4. Tenure of Post: For three years

5. Job Description Data collection using primary survey and data analytics. Documentation and reports preparation. Development of optimization model. Handling the project management aspect for this project. Keeping a record of inflows and outflows in this project. The ProjectAssistant will report to the investigators of the project

6. Essential Qualification: First Class undergraduate Engineering/Technology degree from a leading institute. Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university/institute of repute with a good track record. At least two years of working experience in research & development in industry and academic institution (mandatory) in technology sectors in prominent roles for handling statistical analysis and data analytics and related activities

7. Desirable Profile: NET Qualified Langauages: Bengali, Santali, Angika Experience in statistical analysis Knowledge of CPLEX/GURBI software Good understanding of Data Analytics The management, communication, inter-disciplinary, and creative writing skills Able to interact comfortably with professionals, senior academicians, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad The Office of Dean, Research & Development students, and otherstakeholders Should be willing to travel extensively Good at multitasking

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be informed for the date of interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Dhanbad if required. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
