1. Position: Research Associate (RA)

2. Number of Position (s): One (01

3. Title of The Project: Separation and Recovery of Fine Particles from Coal Washery Effluents Using Bio- Coagulant

4. Tenure of Project: Two years (02)

5. Job Description: The job involves the frequent visit of coal washery units for sample collection. Analysis of the collected samples for wastewater quality parameters. The job involves preparation and purification of bio coagulants for recovering the coal fines from effluent samples. The work is envisioned for the development and deployment of prototype in field conditions. The project also involves compilation of data, writing research articles, and preparation of project report quarterly.

6. Essential Qualification: Ph. D. in Environmental Science & Engineering/Chemical Engineering having active work experience in water and wastewater treatment with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. (or) M. Tech/ ME in Environmental Science and Engg/ Chemical Engineering or Equivalent with at least three years of active work experience in water and wastewater treatment and should have at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SC) journal.

7. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge and hands-on experience in sampling and characterization of wastewater samples. Prior experience in the area of development of plant-based adsorbents and coagulants. Adequate knowledge of surface characterization techniques such as zeta potential, FESEM, and TEM. At least five nos. of first-authored publications in high- impact factor SCI/SCIE journals (Q1 Journal).

8. Fellowship: Rs. 47,000/- per month +16% HRA= 54520/-per month
