Eligibility Criteria (As on 20.08.2026)

Assistant / UDC Graduation with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 (10-point scale) from a recognized university, completed within the stipulated course duration, AND proficiency in computer use. Maximum 28 years as on 20.08.2026. Relaxation: OBC +3 years; SC/ST +5 years; Others as per Govt. rules.
JPA / Stenographer Option 1: Graduation with 60% marks/CGPA 6.32 + 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography + Computer proficiency.

Option 2: Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with 60% marks/CGPA 6.32 + One year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer + 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography + Computer proficiency.

Note: CGPA conversion to percentage is NOT permitted for determining eligibility where only CGPA is mentioned.

Educational Qualification:Graduation with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) for Assistant/UDC/JPA/Stenographer. For JPA/Stenographer, an alternative Diploma with one year of experience is also acceptable. All qualifications must be completed within the stipulated course duration.

Age Limit:Maximum 28 years as on 20.08.2026. Relaxations: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), and other categories as per Government of India rules.

Salary & Emoluments:




Level 4 of Pay Matrix: Minimum basic pay of ₹25,500 per month, plus DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other benefits as per Central Government rules.

Selection Procedure:

  1. Written Test (Objective type, 150 minutes).
  2. Skill Test (Computer Literacy Test for all; Stenography Test for JPA/Stenographer).
  3. Final Merit based on Written Test marks, subject to qualifying the Skill Test.

Application Fee (Processing Fee):

  • Assistant/UDC only: ₹500
  • JPA/Stenographer only: ₹500
  • Combined (Assistant/UDC & JPA/Stenographer): ₹1,000

Refund: ₹100 per post is non-refundable. The balance is refunded to candidates who appear in the Written Test (full refund for Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen).

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India. To fulfil this objective, ISRO has established major space systemsfor communication, television broadcasting and meteorological services; resources monitoring and management; space-based navigation services. ISRO has developed satellite launch vehicles, PSLV and GSLV, to place the satellites in the required orbits.
