Note: CGPA conversion to percentage is NOT permitted for determining eligibility where only CGPA is mentioned.
Educational Qualification:Graduation with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) for Assistant/UDC/JPA/Stenographer. For JPA/Stenographer, an alternative Diploma with one year of experience is also acceptable. All qualifications must be completed within the stipulated course duration.
Age Limit:Maximum 28 years as on 20.08.2026. Relaxations: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), and other categories as per Government of India rules.
Salary & Emoluments:
Level 4 of Pay Matrix: Minimum basic pay of ₹25,500 per month, plus DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and other benefits as per Central Government rules.
Selection Procedure:
- Written Test (Objective type, 150 minutes).
- Skill Test (Computer Literacy Test for all; Stenography Test for JPA/Stenographer).
- Final Merit based on Written Test marks, subject to qualifying the Skill Test.
Application Fee (Processing Fee):
- Assistant/UDC only: ₹500
- JPA/Stenographer only: ₹500
- Combined (Assistant/UDC & JPA/Stenographer): ₹1,000
Refund: ₹100 per post is non-refundable. The balance is refunded to candidates who appear in the Written Test (full refund for Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen).

- Upload Documents: Upload a recent colour passport-size photograph and signature in .jpg/.jpeg format, along with category certificates (if applicable).
- Pay Fee: Pay the processing fee online through the Bharatkosh e-payment gateway.
- Submit: Review all details carefully before submitting the application. Note the Registration Number for future reference.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India. The organisation is involved in science, engineering and technology to harvest the benefits of outer space for India and the mankind. ISRO is a major constituent of the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India. The department executes the Indian Space Programme primarily through various Centres or units within ISRO.
ISRO was previously the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), set up by the Government of India in 1962, as envisioned by Dr. VikramA Sarabhai. ISRO was formed on August 15, 1969 and superseded INCOSPAR with an expanded role to harness space technology. DOS was set up and ISRO was brought under DOS in 1972.
The prime objective of ISRO/DOS is the development and application of space technology for various national needs. To fulfil this objective, ISRO has established major space systemsfor communication, television broadcasting and meteorological services; resources monitoring and management; space-based navigation services. ISRO has developed satellite launch vehicles, PSLV and GSLV, to place the satellites in the required orbits.
