Educational Qualification: M.Sc

CSIR.IHBT Walk-in-interviews are scheduled to be held on the date(s) as mentioned below against the position(s) in the respective column for the selection of suitable candidate(s) in the areas under the following project(s) on purely temporary basis for the duration of the projects or till completion of the projects whichever is earlier:

A. Project Title: "CSIR - Floriculture Mission" (HCP-0037)

1. Post Name: Project Associate-I

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: Rs. 25,000/-p.m. + HRA

4. Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Botany from a recognized university or equivalent.

5. Desirable Qualification: in conducting field trads plant data observation in noncultural crops and proven in form of research publicabon 'Will be preferred

B. Project Title: "Development of remunerative organic waste management system for the colder regions of the India with the intervention of psychriophilic aerobic and anaerobic microbial constortia" (GAP-0257)

3. Salary: Rs. 25,000/-p.m. - Rs. 31,000 + HRA

4. Essential Qualification: M Sc. Microbiology, Biotechnology. Life Science

5. Desirable Qualification: Experience in closing and express experiments, protein extraction and purification during dissertation work of M Sc or above Will be preferred

C. Project Title: "Characterization of reverse transcriptase (RNA dependent DNA polymerase) activity from greenhouse whitefly Trialourodos vaporariorum" MLP-0176

1. Post Name: Project Associate-I

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: (l) Rs 31000 pm. + HRA to those who are selected through a) National Eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or b) A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by central government and their agencies and institutions

(ii) Rs, 25,000/-p m. + HRA for others who do not fall under (l) above

4. Essential Qualification: M Sc or equivalent jn Biotnformatics

5. Desirable Qualification: Preference Will be given to candidates having expertise in generation, handling and analysts of high throughout sequence NGS data (genome/ transcriptome/ sRNA). The expertise as in the desirable category should be clearly spelled out in the experience section of the application form
