Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Accountant (Deputation)

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce from a recognized university.
• Experience (Option A): 05 years of experience in a commercial or educational institution or Government office.
• Experience (Option B): SAS Accountant with 02 years of experience in establishment matters.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computers.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on 25 October 2026.

Eligible Departments for Deputation

Officers holding analogous posts through deputation from the following sources are eligible:

• Offices of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India
• Comptroller General of Accounts (CGA) offices
• Central Government offices under eligible services
• National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida
• Officers from any Central or State Institute of Hotel Management
• Food Craft Institutes
• Other Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)

Period of Deputation: Initially 02 years, extendable up to one additional year subject to the clearance of the Board of Governors, IHM Chennai.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection Method: Personal Interview of eligible and shortlisted candidates.
• Screening: Applications will be screened for eligibility as per the applicable Recruitment Rules of IHM Chennai and Government of India instructions. Only candidates meeting the deputation criteria and forwarded through proper channel will be considered.
