Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Pharm., M.V.Sc., or 4-year graduate program or equivalent in Life Sciences and allied subjects (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Chemistry, Microbiology) with at least 55% marks without rounding off.
- Mandatory Fellowship: Must have qualified CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC-RGNF, ICMR-JRF, or any other nationally competitive fellowship offered by the Government of India for PhD studies, with a valid fellowship tenure of five years.
- Result Awaited: Candidates awaiting final results may apply but must produce the final mark sheet before joining.
- Preferred: Experience with bioinformatics and computational biology for specific projects (marked * in vacancy list).
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Screening: Shortlisting based on criteria in the advertisement. Additional cut-offs may be applied if applicant volume is high.
- First Round Interview: Conducted online (16–17 November 2026).
- Final Round Interview: Conducted offline at BRIC-ILS, Bhubaneswar (14–16 December 2026). Candidates interact with PIs and provide laboratory choices.
- Travel Allowance: To-and-fro bus or rail fare by shortest route limited to sleeper class is paid for candidates appearing in the final round interview.
