Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Scientist-II

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Veterinary Science/Molecular Biology/Virology with PhD in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Virology.
    • Three years of experience in molecular diagnosis of infectious disease, preferably in a biocontainment facility.
  • Desirable Experience:
    • Two years of facility management experience in BSL-2 or higher biosafety level lab.
    • Experience in supervising a small/mid-size team.
    • Experience in diagnostic assay development/validation studies with hands-on experience of working with BSL-3 pathogens.
    • Demonstrated commitment toward risk-pathogen testing and management.
  • Age Limit: 40 years
