Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited for the position of project-linked Junior Research Fellow in a DST-funded project titled, Strategizing with Partial Information - From Game Theory, Logic and Automata Theory to Experiments and Computational Cognitive Models' in the Computer Science Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute Chennai Centre on a purely temporary basis.
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. Tenure: The duration of appointment is from the date of joining this position till 3I March 2023 which may be extended later/terminated earlier based on performance and availability of required funds.
3. Qualification required:
(a) M.Sc. or equivalent in Economics / Statistics or any M.E / M.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science or related subjects.
(b) Qualification certificate of CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship/ GATE / National level examination conducted by Central Government departments, agencies, institutions such as DST, DAE, MHRD, IT, ISc, IISER, ISI and others. Exposure to Empirical Study, Statistical Analysis and proficiency in Programming are desirable.
4. Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- plus 27% HRA per month for the first two years & Rs.35,000/- plus 27% HRA per month for the third year.
