Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGNDU PSOU) invites applications for recruitment of Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Number of Vacancy: 2 Posts

Educational Qualification: i. Should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institution; and ii. Possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications from a Government recogniesed institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001 certified. OR iii. Possesses a Computer Information Technology course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India. and iv. Qualifies a test in Punjabi (In Unicode Font Raavi) and English typing to be held by the Board or the appointing authority or the Department of Information Technology as the case may be, at a speed of 30 Wpm (300 words in 10 minutes). v. Punjabi upto Matric Standard. vi. Preference will be given to candidate with post graduate & PGDCA diploma vii. Eligible candidates as per above shall be shortlisted through Typing Test (both Punjabi & English). Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for Interview.

Pay Scale: INR As Per Rules

Age Limit: As Per Rules.

Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.590/- for General and OBC candidates (Rs.295/- fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates) for Non-Teaching vacancy posts to be paid online.
