Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Para Pump Operator: Minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in the trade of Electrician/ Wireman/ Diesel Mechanic/ Pump Mechanic/ Motor Mechanic/ Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic/ Mechanic (Motor Vehicle / Pump Operation & maintenance/ pump operator) from a recognized ITI, OR a matriculation (10th) certificate in the above trades under a skill Development Scheme of the Government.
- Para Fitter: Minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with an ITI Certificate in the trade of Fitter/ Plumber from a recognized ITI/ institute, OR a matriculation (10th) certificate in the above trades under a skill Development Scheme of the Government.
- Multi Purpose Workers: Minimum qualification of Middle pass (8th), or its equivalent, from a school duly recognized by the State Government. Candidates must submit their 8th standard marks sheet. Evaluation and shortlisting (if necessary) use the marks in the Middle standard only, even if the candidate has a higher qualification.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 09.11.2026.
- Experience: Experience is not an essential qualification but earns marks in the selection process. It counts when in the related field with IPH/HPPWD/CPWD/PSUs, or with an outsourcing agency providing services in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag. A certificate issued by the EE (JSV) is required.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Selection is out of 10 marks. First, an initial merit list is drawn up from each candidate's experience and qualification. The top eligible candidates, at least 5 times the number of vacancies, are then called for the skill/physical test. Separate call letters will be issued for the test. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the skill and physical test.
