Technical Assistant and Personal Assistant

Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant:
Pass in Degree in any branch of Engineering/Postgraduation in Science with 50% marks from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent grade.
Experience: A minimum experience of 4 years in relevant fields mentioned in the job description.
Desirable Experience: (i) Hands-on experience in a research environment, preferably in a laboratory housing electrical/electronic equipment and (ii) Knowledge of Microsoft Multimedia packages.
Personal Assistant:
1) Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University
2) Stenography in English with a minimum speed of 100 WPM
3) English Typing with minimum speed of 35 WPM
4) Knowledge of computer applications
5) Working knowledge in the Hindi language
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant field, as mentioned in the job description, in a Central Government Establishment, preferably a research institution. OR A three-year Diploma in Secretarial/Commercial Practice from a Government recognized
institution with 6-8 years of experience in the relevant field, as mentioned in the job description, in a Central Government Establishment, preferably a research institution.
Pay Scale:
INR
Level-6 Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is an autonomous institution that was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI to commemorate the birth centenary year of Jawaharlal Nehru. Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, was the founding President. The Centre was registered as a society with Dr. Raja Ramanna (eminent physicist and former Chairman, DAE) as its first Chairman. The Centre was recognized as an Institution Deemed to be University by University Grants Commission, GoI in 2002. Prof. Umesh V Waghmare is the current President of the Centre, and its Governing Council is chaired by Prof. V Ramgopal Rao.
The Council of Management oversees all major activities of the Centre including granting of degrees, appointment of new faculty and initiation of new programmes. The Academic Advisory Committee (AAC) of the Centre monitors the teaching programmes and award of degrees. The institution is headed by the President and assisted by the Administrative Officer and other Officers who are in-charge of their respective departments. Four Deans oversee the activities of the Academic Section, Extension Programmes, Research and Development, and Faculty Affairs.
