ii. First Class M. sc. Botany/Biotechnology

iv. First Class M. Sc. Chemistry

v. First Class M. Sc. Microbiology

4. Desirable qualifications:

i. Eligibility for Ph. D. registration

ii. Experience in plant tissue culture

iii. Experience in plant tissue culture, bioprospecting and germplasm maintenance

iv. Preference to Forest exploration experience

v. One-year experience in tissue culture/ horticulture

vi. Computer knowledge

5. Salary: Rs. 22,000/- per month consolidated.

Selection Procedure

A written test may be conducted prior to the interview depending upon the number of candidates appearing for a specific project position.

How to Apply:

1. Walk-in-interviews for temporary positions will be held at JNTBGRI (10 a.m.), Palode on December 16, 2021 to December 17, 2021

2. Candidates should report by 9.00 a.m.

3. The prescribed application form appended below,duly downloaded from Institute web site and filled,is to be submitted at the time of screening

4. The filled up application form should be accompanied by self-attested copiesof certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, experience and caste mentioned in the application.

5. The candidate must bring the original certificates/testimonials at the time of screening.

6. No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the walk-in-interview.

7. Appointments in these temporary positions are till March 31, 2022 and are likely to be extended.

8. Change in the date of walk-in-interview due to unforeseen reasons, if any, will be notified in the web site.

9. Candidates are instructed to follow Covid precautions during their visit to the Institute for the walk-in-interview.

10. JNTBGRI is located near Palode (PIN 695562), 40 km away from Thiruvananthapuram City in the Thiruvananthapuram-Thenkasi route. JNTBGRI is also reachable from Nilamel, Kilimanoor and Kulathupuzha.
