Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET)

Number of Vacancy: Various Posts

Educational Qualification: Class 1st to 5th (Primary Teachers): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appeared in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates who possess “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible to become Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have to mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, Education of Children with Special Needs within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher. Class 6th to 8th (Upper Primary Teachers): Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of 2- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Graduation with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Pay Scale: INR As Per Rules Per Month
