Online Applications are invited as per Eligibility and Conditions printed underneath from eligible candidates to fill up the 22 (Twenty Two) vacancies to the post of District Judges from the Bar in the pay scale of Rs. 51550-1230-58930-1380- 63070 [pre-revised] [Rs. 131100-216600 Level 13 A of pay matrix (interim)]. 1. Qualification: Graduate in law from a University recognind for the purpose of enrolment as an Advcxrate under the Advocates Act, 1961. 5. Selection Procedure
1. The permission to appear in the Preliminary test/ Main Examination/ Interview will not waive the right of the High Court to further verify the candidates' eligibility and other criteria for appointment, and it will be without prejudice to further scrutinize relevant papers etc. by the High Court at any stage of the selection process and thereafter.
How to Apply:
1. The application shall be filled up online (www. jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in) from 25/03/2022 to 18/04/2022 till 23:59 hours
(i) Candidates will have to upload their scanned colour photograph (less than 1 MB 200X250 pixel) and signature (less than 1 MB 200X125 pixel). Accordingly, candidates are advised to scan their photograph and signature in the given format and save in a documentary file from where the photo, signature can be browsed and uploaded.
(ii) Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility before applying for the post and only after satisfaction; the candidates have to make requisite payment of Rs. 1000/-(For General & Others) & Rs. 500/-(For S.C. & S. T.) through the payment gateway link available on the official website of the Court. After the successful payment, candidates will be able to fill-up application form.
(iii) The candidates are advised to note down Payment reference number generated after successful online payment, which shall be used for filling up the online application form.
2. Each candidate should submit his/her application through the official website of High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi i.e. www.jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in and has to pay the examination fees online.

A circuit bench of the Patna High Court was established at Ranchi with effect from 6th March 1972 under clause 36 of the Letter Patent of that High Court. The bench was established to meet the needs of the Adivasi Population of the Chota Nagpur area in the erstwhile State of Bihar. The Circuit bench was made Permanent Bench of Patna High Court, by Act no. 57 of 1976, by High Court at Patna(Establishment of Permanent Bench AT Ranchi) Act 1976 with effect from 8th April 1976. The Jharkhand High Court came into existence after the reorganization of the state of Bihar in the existing state of Bihar and Jharkhand on 15th November 2000.
