Skills / Eligibility
1. Post Name : Management Trainee (Biotechnology) 2. Qualification: a) B.Tech (Biotechnology)/MSc (Biotechnology) from a recognized University approved by AICTE 3. No of Post : 01 4. Place of posting: Centre for Applied Livestock Genomics (CALG), KLD Board Ltd., Kudappanakunnu, Thiruvananthapuram 5. Period: One year on contract basis 6. Remuneration : Consolidated pay of Rs.30000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) per month

Selection Procedure
1.Merely meeting the above qualifications and experience shall not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
2. Only short-listed candidates will be notified for Interview.
How to Apply:
a) Application form may be downloaded from KLD Board Website www.livestock.kerala.gov.in
b) Applications must be in response to our advertisement quoting Advertisement Reference No. and Post on the application form.
c) Name of the post applied for, should be super scribed on the envelope containing the application.
d) Candidates belonging to General category and OBC category are required to pay application fee of Rs.750/- in the form of Demand Draft (DD)(for SC/ST Rs:150/- only). The DD is non refundable and should be drawn in favour of “KERALA LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT BOARD”, payable at THIRUVANANTHAPURAM.
e) Please mention your name, and address along with your mobile number on the reverse of the DD.
f) The application should contain one recent passport size photograph pasted on the form, self attested copies of proof of age, degree certificate and experience certificate.
g) Applications must reach the office of the Managing Director, Kerala Livestock Development Board Limited, “Gokulam”, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala - 695004, on or before 09/03/2022. KLD Board will not be responsible for any delay/loss in postal transit of any application or communication.
h) All instructions as given above must be adhered to, failing which, the applicant will be disqualified for the post.

The Kerala Livestock Development Board Ltd (KLDB), was established in year 1976, it's a Kerala Government undertaking. The aim of board is to involve new breed of cattle suitable for the Stata.
They commercialised unit of the Board namely Chilling Plant, Dairy Plants and Cattle Feed Plant. The Board conducting activities like,Cattle Breeding, Frozen Semen Production and Distribution, Fodder Development training, etc.
The prime objective of KLDB promote fodder Production under field condition in support of economic Milk Production and also produce and supply good quality piglets for breeding and fattening.
The Board conducting short term and long term Training Programmes all these courses are designed for field works including combination of Theory, Practicals, Group Discussions, Seminars and field visits in discipline of Frozen Semen Technology, Frozen Semen Production and Handling, Cross Breeding and Sir Evaluation under Tropical Condition, Fertility Problems in Female Bovines, Fodder Production and its utilization, Management of Breeding Operations in Pigs, Tropical Pasture Seed Production and Quality Control.
