Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) is a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways invites applications for the following posts on contract basis at fixed remuneration rate for USBRL Project, Jammu & Kashmir (U.T).
1. Position: Sr. Technical Assistant (Civil)
2. Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 35, 000/- per month.
3. No of Posts: 13
4. Essential Qualification: Full time Engineering Degree BE/B. Tech (Civil) with not less than 60% marks from recognized University approved by AICTE.
5. Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification Experience in Civil Construction preferably in Railways or PSU or reputed Private Company
1. Position: Jr. Technical Assistant (Civil)
2. Fixed Remuneration: Rs. 30, 000/- per month.
3. No of Posts: 13
4. Essential Qualification: Full time Engineering Degree BE/B. Tech (Civil) with not less than 60% marks from recognized University approved by AICTE.
5. Experience: Nil

Age Limit: The candidates should be maximum 30 years as on 01/05/2022 for the post of Sr. Technical Assistant, 25 years for the post of Jr. Technical Assistant as on 01/05/2022 with further age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Selection Procedure
I. The candidates shall arrive on time at the venue and get registered with the nominated KRCL official for the walk-in-interview as indicated.
II. The candidate will be interviewed by a nominated Committee and the selection will be finalized on merit based on the performance in the interview, qualification etc. All the registered candidates will be first interviewed by a nominated Committee and the shortlist panel will be prepared. The shortlisted candidates who are found suitable will be engaged subject to found suitable in the prescribed Medical Examination.
III. The decision of the Nominated Committee will be final and binding
IV. After preliminary screening of the applications submitted by the candidates in person, the eligible candidate(s) will only be interviewed.

6. No train/bus fare/ TA/DA shall be payable by the Corporation.
7. Registration Time: - 09.30 hrs to 13:30hrs only on the date of walk-in interview

The Konkan Railway was the missing link between India’s commercial capital, Mumbai, and Mangalore. The 741-kilometre line connects Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka States — a region of criss-crossing rivers, plunging valleys and mountains that soar into the clouds.

But it is also a tribute to the unconquerable human spirit. Beyond the technical jargon, it was a leap of faith that made the long cherished dream of the people of the region possible.
Konkan Railway started operations on 26th January 1998. Konkan Railway runs along the Konkan coast. It runs from Thokur, Karnataka to Maharashtra through Goa along the west coast of India. Konkan Railway has two regions with headquarters at Ratnagiri in Maharashtra and Karwar in Karnataka.
