Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture is one of the leading institutes that envision empowering the youth with the high paradigm of agricultural education. Established in 2014 under the aegis of the Sakthi Foundation, the charitable trust of Sakthi Group, it is a part of the Kumaraguru institutions. It is the upshot of the time-hallowed dream of Arutchelvar Padmabhushan Dr. N. Mahalingam. The campus evinces the heritage, excellent vision, and exceptional commitment of the Sakthi Group of Companies and the zestful insight of the founder.

KIA strives to unlatch its students a wide window to the new world of agriculture blended with technology. It focuses on innovating new practices to improve and sustain food production that makes agriculture more feasible and commercial. The college is equipped to aid the students with capacious classrooms, ample lecture halls, sizeable seminar halls, well-resourced laboratories, speedy network connectivity, and adept faculty.

KIA nurtures and maintains two farms - South Farm (42.5 acres) and North Farm (57.5 acres). The students receive practical knowledge offer hands-on training on these farms. It improves the skills of our students and enhances their ability to understand and employ innovative practices. The farms have an ample number of tractors, farm implements, tools, and other types of machinery that are adequate for the students to imbibe the knowledge.

KIA is affiliated with Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. It extends over an area of 131 acres in Nachimuthupuram, Appakudal, Erode.
