Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture is one of the leading institutes that envision empowering the youth with the high paradigm of agricultural education. Established in 2014 under the aegis of the Sakthi Foundation, the charitable trust of Sakthi Group, it is a part of the Kumaraguru institutions. KIA nurtures and maintains two farms - South Farm (42.5 acres) and North Farm (57.5 acres). The students receive practical knowledge offer hands-on training on these farms. It improves the skills of our students and enhances their ability to understand and employ innovative practices. The farms have an ample number of tractors, farm implements, tools, and other types of machinery that are adequate for the students to imbibe the knowledge.

KIA is affiliated with Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. It extends over an area of 131 acres in Nachimuthupuram, Appakudal, Erode.
