Subject: Recruitment of Guest Faculty for Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Thiruvananthapuram-regarding. The Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education (LNCPE), Thiruvananthapuram is the academic wing of the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The College is affiliated to University of Kerala and it aims to serve as a model institute for teacher training by offering undergraduate and post-graduate courses. SAL-LNCPE also offers PhD course (a research centre under University of Kerala) besides both regular Post Graduate Degree course (MPES) and Teachers Education course (BPEd) in Physical Education under the University of Kerala. 1. Name of the Post: Guest Faculty 2. Number of vacancies: 02 post 3. Remuneration: Rs.1500/-per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month 4. Essential Qualifications, experience etc: i) A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Physical Education/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of MPhil /Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 5. Desirable: A minimum of 5 year teaching experience in Physical Education subject from a recognised University/College.
Pay Scale: INR 50000(Per Month)
