Eligibility Criteria – MSRVVP Driver Recruitment 2026

Age Limit

• For Deputation: Not exceeding 55 years as on the closing date (31 July 2026).
• For Direct Recruitment: 18 to 27 years as on 31 July 2026. Age relaxation as per MSRVVP & Government of India rules (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc.).

Educational & Other Qualifications

For Direct Recruitment (Essential):

1. Passed 10th Standard from a recognized Board.
2. Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars.
3. Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects).
4. Minimum 3 years of experience in driving a motor car from a Government Department / Govt. Controlled Body / PSU / registered Private Firm / Company / Registered Professional Practitioner.

Desirable Qualification:

Three years service as Home Guards or Civil Defense Volunteers.

For Deputation:

Regular Group C employees in Pay Level-1 of MSRVVP or other Central Government Ministries who possess a valid driving license and meet the above qualifications. Armed Forces Personnel due to retire/transfer to reserve within one year are also eligible.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Selection will be based on:

1. General Aptitude Test: 90 minutes, objective type (likely covering general awareness, reasoning, numerical ability).
2. Driving Test: To assess driving skills and knowledge of motor mechanism.
3. Document Verification.

Candidates must be prepared for a three-day stay in Ujjain (may extend to four days for the skill test) at their own expense.
