Project Title & Scope

This recruitment is under the ICMR funded project titled "Integrated and Functional Validation Framework for Genes and Variants of Uncertain Significance in Paediatric Neurodegenerative Genetic Disorders" at the Department of Medical Genetics, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), MAHE, Manipal. Candidates are required to contribute to research activities in paediatric neurodegenerative genetic disorders, gene validation, and functional studies of variants of uncertain significance.

Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Project Technical Support III (2 Posts)

• 3 Years Graduate Degree in relevant subject/field plus 3 years post-qualification experience OR Post Graduate degree in relevant subject/field.

Project Technical Support II (1 Post)

• 12th Standard in Science plus Diploma in MLT / DMLT / Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant subject/field.

Note: The engagement is under an ICMR-funded research project and is contractual in nature.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and past experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the screening threshold, a written test / screening examination may be conducted before interview as per institutional norms.
