Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals, giving full details of educational qualifications and experience, for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in research project entitled “Determining The Role Of Glutamate Decarboxylase In Mycobacterial Drug Tolerance And Adaptation-survival Within Host Cells” funded by DST-SERB, India under the guidance of Dr. Shivendra K Chaurasiya (Principal Investigator), Department of Biological Science & Engineering, MANIT, Bhopal – 462003.
1. The post is purely temporary, co-terminus with project. It may be extended only in case project duration is extended by authority and recommended by PI for the same. After completion of 02 years as JRF, incumbent may be promoted to SRF for the rest of tenure after following due process.

4. Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA as (As per applicable DST-SERB, India norms/ Institute norms).
5. Essential Qualification: M. Tech./M.Sc./M. Pharm in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Molecular biology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences with minimum 60% or equivalent.
6. Desirable Qualification: NET/GATE qualified.

How to Apply:
1. Last date for submission of complete application form 24-01-2022
2. Interview Date Will be notified to eligible candidates through e-mail
3. The candidates should apply in the prescribed format available on the Institute website (www.manit.ac.in) on or before 24-01-2022, along with attested photocopies of the relevant certificates
4. If any of the important information provided in the application form is not supported by certificates attached, application will be rejected. 5. Call letters will be e-mailed to the respective email id after scrutiny of each application. No hard copy of call letter will be sent. The appointment will be purely on contract basis, the post have been created for the execution of the research project and selected candidates shall not be an employee and no claim of any benefit on that account. Appointment may be terminated at any time if performance is not satisfactory.
6. Hard copies of application in the prescribed format along with all enclosures should reach PI by 24-01-2022 Envelope should clearly mention (Application for JRF in DST-SERB project). Applications lacking certificates in support of claims made by candidate will be rejected. Applications by email will not be entertained and will be treated as rejected
