Eligibility for Therapeutic Assistant (Male) & Therapeutic Assistant (Female)

• Essential Qualification: Candidate shall possess the 2 ½ years course in Diploma in Nursing Therapy awarded by the Chairman, Board of Examination, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Government of Tamil Nadu OR the Secretary, Governing Council, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai, Government of Tamil Nadu.
• Experience: Not specified (Freshers are eligible).
• Desirable: Persons with required qualification whether registered in employment exchange or otherwise are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years (should have completed).
• Maximum Age:
  • SC / ST / SCA / BC / BCM / MBC & DNC: No Maximum Age Limit (Should not have completed 60 years as on 01.07.2025).
  • OC – General: Maximum 32 years.
  • OC – Differently Abled: Maximum 42 years.
  • OC – Ex-Servicemen: Maximum 48 years.
  • Destitute Widow: No Maximum Age Limit.

• SC / SCA / ST / DAP(PH) / DW: Rs. 300/-
• Others: Rs. 600/-
• Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Selection Process

Selection will be made based on the marks scored by the candidates in their academic qualification. There will be no oral test (Interview).

Weightage of marks:

• Diploma in Nursing Therapy – 50%
• HSC / P.U.C – 30%
• SSLC / 10th – 20%
