Educational Qualification: M.A

1. Position: Editor (Indian Railways)/Railway Board, New Delhi

2. No of Post: 01

3. Eligibility for Deputation: Officers of the Central Government

(a) (i) Holding on a regular basis in the parent Cadre or Department, or (ii) Five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-3, of Rs. with grade pay of Rs. Level-II, or equivalent in the Parent Cadre or Department; and

(b) Possessing the educational and other qualifications as given below: (i) Master's Degree in English from a University or equivalent. (ii) Ten years experience in Journalism or as Editor in English in any publication department of the Central Government or any Newspaper or news agency or publicity organization under the Central Government.

Desirable: Degree or diploma in Journalism of University or Institution.
