MBMC Recruitment 2026: 1 Mammography Technician – Apply Offline @ mbmc.gov.in

The Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC), through its Public Health Department, invites offline applications for 1 vacant post of Mammography Technician (मॅमोग्राफी तंत्रज्ञ) at Bharatratna Indira Gandhi Hospital, Mira Road. This is a purely temporary, honorary appointment on a contract basis with a monthly honorarium of Rs. 25,000. The prescribed application form and all self-attested documents must reach the Public Health Department by 5:00 PM on 10 November 2026.

Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

The honorarium is disbursed according to biometric attendance. No additional payment is made for work beyond normal working hours.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification:
  • A degree in the Science Faculty from a recognised university with Radiology as a subject.
  • Knowledge of Marathi language is mandatory.
  • The application form includes a section for computer qualifications (MSCIT or an equivalent recognised course).
• Experience:
  • 3 years' experience as a Mammography Technician in a government-recognised hospital.
• Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 60 years as on the date the advertisement was published (21 October 2026).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• MBMC will review all applications received and prepare a draft merit list of eligible candidates.
• Appointments will be made from the merit list in order of merit, subject to MBMC's operational requirements and the terms of the notification.
• Selected candidates must report for appointment with original eligibility and experience documents, one passport-size photograph, and one set of self-attested photocopies.
• MBMC will not issue individual communication to candidates found ineligible.
• No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for the application or selection process.

Service Conditions & Terms of Appointment

• The initial appointment order will be for six months, on an honorary and purely temporary basis.
• The selected candidate must join within 3 days of receiving the appointment order.
• A minimum of 8 hours of duty per day is required, with working hours as set by the Head of Department. As this is an essential service, additional work may be required when necessary.
• This post provides no right to claim permanent absorption into MBMC service or any benefits of permanent staff. This condition is not subject to legal challenge.
• MBMC may terminate the appointment without notice. A one-month notice period is not guaranteed.
• A resigning candidate must give at least 15 days' written notice; failure to do so will result in forfeiture of that month's honorarium.
• Service may be ended without notice for doubtful integrity, misconduct, insubordination, absence, or unsatisfactory performance.
• The Commissioner reserves the right to modify, cancel, or amend the recruitment process at any stage without assigning reasons.

How to Apply for MBMC Mammography Technician Recruitment 2026

Applications must be submitted offline only using the prescribed application form downloaded from the MBMC official website. Applications not made on this form and received within the deadline will not be accepted.

1. Download the prescribed application form from the MBMC official website.
2. Paste a passport-size photograph in the designated box on the form and sign below it.
3. Fill in your full name in both Marathi and English (capital letters), followed by permanent and current addresses, phone number, email, date of birth, age, sex, nationality, Maharashtra domicile status, marital status, and languages known.
4. List educational qualifications from Class 10 onwards with percentages only (no SGPA, CGPA, or grades). Include additional and computer qualifications.
5. Provide complete experience details: institution name, whether government/semi-government/private, period, total duration, and reason for leaving.
6. Declare any court, criminal, or disciplinary proceedings; list attached document copies; sign the declaration.
7. Complete and sign the undertaking (हमीपत्र) stating that no criminal case is registered against you.
8. Submit the completed application with all self-attested documents by 5:00 PM on 10 November 2026 at:
