Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Invites Application for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Recruitment 2021

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow(1 No.) to work in a research project titled “The coating of CuNiFeCrMo Graphene oxide Nano composites on CFRP – Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics / Composites to improve Thermal Conductivity & Electrical Conductivity properties of CFRP – Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic / Composites” sponsored by ISRO under the supervision of Prof. Upender Pandel, Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, MNIT Jaipur, Rajasthan.

3. Essential Qualifications:

i. B.E./B.Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Materials Science and Engineering/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Materials Science with first division

ii. ME/MTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engg/ Metallurgical Engg/Materials Engg/Chemical Engg /Mechanical Engg./Nano Technology in MHRD, UGC or AICTE affiliated institutes with first division.

4. Fellowship: Rs 31,000/- + HRA per month for first two years and Rs 35,000/- + HRA per month for third year.

5. Desirable Experience:

Coating techniques, analysis using different characterization techniques such as X-ray Diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and also Tribological behavior.

6. Duration: Thirty Six months.

7. The position is purely temporary and meant for 36 (Thirty Six) months or the end of the project whichever is earlier and co-terminus with the tenure of the project.

Selection Procedure

1. Selection committee of MNIT Jaipur reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short- listing of eligible candidates

2. Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit and experience of the available candidates. Decision of the selection committee will be final.

3 The list of candidates selected for the interview will be uploaded in the MNIT website ten days before the interview date.

4. The date and time of the interview will also be informed to shortlisted candidates by email and hence a valid email id should be provided by the candidates in their applications.
