Eligibility for Ayurveda Therapist (Female)

  • Essential: Ayurveda Therapist Course conducted by Govt. of Kerala (DAME Approved) or One Year Ayurveda Therapist Course conducted by NARIP Cheruthuruthi.
  • Experience: Refer to official notification
  • Age Limit: As on 09 January 2026 not exceed 40 years. Retired Ayurveda Therapists below the age of 60 years are allowed.

Selection Process

The mode of recruitment shall be an interview. In case if there are 20 or more applicants for a particular post written test will be conducted along with the interview.

Applicants must compulsorily fill-up all relevant fields of application and submit them in a sealed envelope directly or through a post on or before 20/01/2026 to The District Programme Manager, District Programme Management & Supporting Unit, National AYUSH Mission, Orikompil Building 2nd Floor, Melevettipuram, Pathanamthitta -689645. Applications will be accepted only on working days from 10 AM to 5 PM. Self-attested copies of certificates proving age and educational qualifications for the respective posts should be submitted along with the application.

About NAM Kerala

Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India launched the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM) on 15th September 2014 for implementing the same through States/UT Governments to ensure easy access to quality and cost-effective AYUSH healthcare services across the country.

Union Cabinet on 20th March 2020 had also approved operationalization of 12500 AYUSH Health & Wellness Centers component under AYUSHMAN BHARAT for implementation through NAM to provide a holistic wellness model based on AYUSH principles and practices, to empower masses for “self-care” to reduce the disease burden, and out-of-pocket expenditure. AYUSH System of healthcare play a significant role in providing preventive, promotive and curative care which is easy to access, cost effective and traditionally prevalent.
