Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Applicants must satisfy any one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the Yoga Instructor post at NAM Thrissur:

• Degree in BNYS or BAMS from a recognized university.
• M.Sc. (Yoga) from a recognized university.
• M.Phil. (Yoga) from a recognized university.
• Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Degree in Yoga from a recognized university, with one year of experience in Yoga.
• 1-Year Certificate Course in Yoga from a government department, with one year of experience in Yoga.
• Diploma in Yogic Sciences and/or Sports Yoga / Certificate Course in Yoga (1-year duration) from YCB (Yoga Certification Board) / SCOLE Kerala.
• Yoga Teacher Training Course (D.V.T Course) passed from State Resource Centre.

Age Limit

Upper age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation, if any, will be as per Kerala Government norms applicable to contractual appointments.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Document Verification: All original certificates and self-attested photocopies will be verified at the venue on the walk-in date.
2. Written Test: If the number of eligible candidates attending exceeds 20, a screening written test will be conducted at the venue.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates (or all candidates, if fewer than 20) will appear for a personal interview on the same day.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.
