NAARM Invites Application for Research Associate, Young Professional-II Recruitment 2022

Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria are invited to attend Walk-in-interview for engagement / hiring of Research Associate (one position) & Young Professional-II (one position) on contract basis (purely temporary) to work under consultancy project GIZ, New Delhi on “Developing and Pilot Testing Specialized Knowledge Products on Human Wildlife Conflict Mitigation for Agriculture and Veterinary Sector in India” at ICAR-NAARM, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-30, Telangana. The eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions for the position are as under :

1. Name of the Section / Project / Indenter Name :GIZ project on “Developing and Pilot Testing Specialized Knowledge Products on Human Wildlife Conflict Mitigation for Agriculture and Veterinary Section in India”

2. Name of the Position: Research Associate

3. No.of positions: 01

4. Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Life Sciences including Agriculture and allied disciplines Or Master Degree in Life Sciences including Agriculture and allied disciplines having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least 3 years of research experience

5. Job Description: Desk Research; Policy review related to Human Wild life conflict with respect to agriculture; Data analysis; Preparation of draft manuscripts / reports; Communication with partner institutions with respect to the project; Any other tasks assigned by the Project Leader. The project tasks would involve travel / field visits to the project sites located in Karnataka, Uttarakand, West Bengal etc.

6. Emoluments: Rs. 50,000/- per month (Consolidated)

7. Duration: For a period upto 12 months or till termination of the project

8. Mode of Engagement: Purely on a Contract (Temporary) basis

5. Job Description: Desk Research; Policy review related to Human Wild life conflict with respect to agriculture; Data analysis, preparation of draft manuscripts / reports ; Communication with partner institutions with respect to the project; Any other tasks assigned by the Project Leader. The project tasks would involve travel / field visits to the project sites located in Karnataka, Uttarakand, West Bengal, etc.,

6. Emoluments: Rs. 35,000/- (Fixed) per month

7. Duration: or a period upto 06 months or till termination of the project

8. Mode of Engagement: Purely on Contract (Temporary) basis
