Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Option 1: Science Graduate (B.Sc. in IT, CS, BCA) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Option 2: Diploma in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology) from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required.
  • Experience: Freshers are preferred. Relevant skills in IT support are required.

Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Maximum Age: 28 Years.
  • Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of 01.01.2026.
  • Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) applicable to Central Government Institutes.

Job Profile / Nature of Work

The selected candidate will handle the following responsibilities:

  • Desktop troubleshooting (hardware and software).
  • Installation of OS (Linux, macOS, Windows) and software.
  • Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration).
  • Printer/Scanner configuration and maintenance.
  • Helpdesk ticket handling and remote support.
  • Vendor coordination for repairs.
  • IT asset documentation.

Selection Process

The selection process for NCBS Technical Trainee may consist of:
