Key Terms & Conditions for Candidates
- Temporary Positions: The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. It confers no right to regularization against any CSIR/NEERI post.
- Maximum Tenure: Project staff tenure is limited as per CSIR OM guidelines (maximum of 6 or 7 years, depending on conditions).
- Experience Counting: Experience will be counted from the date after acquiring the minimum educational qualification. Dissertation/thesis work and time spent on higher qualifications will not be counted as experience.
- Shortlisting: Mere fulfillment of minimum qualifications does not guarantee a call for interview. A screening committee may set additional criteria for shortlisting.
- No Upgradation: Upgradation of project staff in the same or new project is not permitted. Candidates must apply fresh for other positions.
- Notice Period: Engagement can be terminated by either party with a one-month notice or payment in lieu thereof.
- Accommodation: Candidates must arrange their own accommodation. HRA will be admissible as per rules.
- Declaration: Candidates must declare details of close relatives (as defined) in CSIR/NEERI. Canvassing in any form is a disqualification.
