Thiruvarur District Health Society, National Health Mission – TN (NHM – TN) invites the application for the post of Mid Level Health Provider (MLHP) on contract basis / purely temporary in nature from the eligible candidates against the vacancies available in the Health SubCentre -Health and Wellness Centers (HWC- HSCs) reaching DHS office 1. Post Name: Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) /Health Inspector Grade II 2. Available number of Post: 56 3. Qualification: i. 12th with Biology/ Botany and Zoology ii. Must have passed Tamil language as a subject in SSLC level iii. Must possess two years for Multi- Purpose Health Worker(Male)/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector Course training/ offered by recognized private institution/ Trust/ Universities/ Deemed Universities including Gandhigram Rural Institute training course certificate granted by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine

National Health Mission Tamil Nadu, Department of Health and Family welfare was started for the rural population. this programme was launched in Tamil nadu on 12th April 2005, with the view of bring architectural correction of health system to enable it to effectively handle increased allocation and promote policies that strengthen public health management and service delivery as prescribed under the NRHM of India . This programme is for seven years from 2005-2012. National Health mission Tamil nadu was funded by Government of India.
State Rural Health Mission was launched in Tamilnadu on 12.4.05 with the view to bring architectural correction of the health system to enable it to effectively handle increased allocations and promote policies that strengthen public health management and service delivery as prescribed under the NRHM of India. The programme is for the period of 2005-2012. The programme is funded by Government of India.
