1. Name of the Position: Outreach Specialist 2. Duration: Initially for one year and may be extended 3. Salary: Rs. 60,000/- per month 4. Essential Qualification and Experience: i. A First Class Master’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism / Development Communication / Library and Information Science / Management and Marketing Studies / Engineering / Agriculture ii. Preference will be given to those who have completed Ph.D in Mass Media or concerned subject. iii. Three (3) years of experience in social media management or as an outreach expert in any national and international organization / institute of repute in public, NGOs and private sectors dealing with research and developmental activities in the areas of agriculture, natural resources, education, community development and health. iv. Good practical knowledge of editing scientific and technical literature, research articles, preparation of newsletters / bulletin and reports. v. Good communication, writing and drafting skills in creating compelling content to feed into different social media platforms vi. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, YouTube and other social media best practices vii. Able to quickly grasp the deliberations of a meeting, discussions, conference proceedings, lectures and dialogues and prepare press-notes, messages for print, electronic and social media instantly. viii. Excellent multi-tasking skills and good time management skills ix. Computer literacy and ability to work efficiently in MS Office tools and able to generate documents on his / her own with reasonable speed. 5. Job Description: i. Work closely with MANAGE Centers to develop social media campaigns to give effective publicity to the activities ii. Design and implement outreach / communication strategy to disseminate information and communicate effectively with all stakeholders iii. Maintain and monitor social media accounts of MANAGE iv. Preparing digital content for different social media platforms instantly to cover every event at MANAGE v. Disseminate information strategically through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blogs, LinkedIn, YouTube and integrate services vi. Monitoring SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization vii. Developing monthly analytical reports on social media accounts and suggest suitable social mediaand outreach strategies to the management viii. Editing of journal articles and monitoring related correspondence ix. Any other duties assigned by the authorities.

The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) is an autonomous organization that operates under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare of the Government of India. Established in 1987, MANAGE is located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
