Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad. One Research Associate (RA) against DBT funded project entitled "An attempt to enhance the shelf life of an oocyte to increase the fertilization time window". PI: Dr. H.B.D.Prasada Rao, Scientist-E. 1. Position: Research Associate (RA) 2. No of Post: 01 3. Eligibility: PhD in Life Sciences. Candidate with the core expertise and experience in Oocyte culturing, chromosome biology, micro manipulation, small and large animal handling is desirable. 4. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years after Ph.D. 5. Fellowship amount: 47000 + 24% HRA per month 6. Duration: Until Jan 2023

Selection Procedure

The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), was established in the year 2010, It’s an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology comes under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
The vision and mission of the institute are to develop sustainable and global competitive livestock industry through innovative technology, pharmaceutical and biologics for animal health care.
The NIA collaborated with the university of Hyderabad, conducting M.Sc & Ph.d. Programs to train young scientist in discipline of, Translational Research, Genomics, Nutrition Enrichment, Transgenic Technology, Infectious Diseases, Reproductive Biotechnology, etc.
