Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad for Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project titled: “Limiting antimicrobial resistance by inhibiting diadenylate cyclase (DAC)- bacterial second messenger biosynthetic enzyme involved in biofilm formation and cell wall integrity” (Project No. AMR/adhoc/187/2019- ECD-II). PI: Dr. Bappaditya Dey.

Walk-in Interview Advt. No. 23/2022

1. Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF).

2. No of Post: One position

3. Fellowship amount: Rs.35000/-PM+24% HRA (if applicable) as per the ICMR guidelines.

4. Eligibility: A minimum of two years research experience after- Post Graduate Degree in life sciences or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course having NET/GATE or selected through national level examination conducted by DBT/DST/MHRD/ICMR/IIT/IISC/IISER (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility.

5. Experience: Candidate with prior experience in Molecular biology (cloning and protein purification), Biochemistry (enzyme assays), and Microbiology (bacterial handling, culture, MIC assay) is desirable.
