Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the position of Project Associate I at the BRIC - National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad. This recruitment is for a DST-SERB funded project under the supervision of Dr. Abhijit S. Deshmukh.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility for Project Associate I

• Essential Qualification: MSc/MVSc/M.Tech Degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Experience: Candidates with prior experience in molecular parasitology and molecular biology techniques involving gene cloning and protein purification will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.

Salary / Fellowship Amount

Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA (if applicable) for candidates with NET/GATE or those who have undergone a selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments.

Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (if applicable) for others who do not have NET/GATE as per DST guidelines.

Selection Process

Candidates will be screened based on their application. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online walk-in interview. The interview will be conducted by a duly constituted selection committee. Original documents must be submitted at the time of joining.
