Skills / Eligibility

NIELIT Chennai is looking for bright & result oriented persons for various sections. The following positions are available purely on temporary contractual basis on consolidated emolument initially for a period of 01 (One) year or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier.

1. Post Name: DevOps Engineer

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/EEE/MSc in Computer Science/Electronics/MCA or BSc/BCA with PG Dip in Cloud Computing

4. Experience (Essential): 3 to 5 Years‟ experience in Git and GitHub, Docker, Docker Compose and Docker Swarm / Kubernetes and very good expertise in customization of Moodle LMS with CMS (WordPress, Joomla & Drupal) in container environment. Knowledge in container-based application backup and restore and also, knowledge in Terraform or any other infrastructure as code tool.

5. Consolidat ed Salary in Rs.: 30,000 to 50,000

6. Job Description: To work with programmers/developers and IT Staffs to develop and deploy container-based applications in our Private Cloud. To work with Git and GitHub, Docker, Docker Compose and Docker Swarm / Kubernetes and customization of Moodle LMS with CMS (WordPress, Joomla & Drupal) in container environment. To work with container-based application backup and restore and also, knowledge in Terraform or any other infrastructure as code tool.

6. Job Description: To develop and deploy Moodle LMS and CMS (WordPress, Joomla & Drupal) for Virtual Learning in Private Cloud and To work with Plugin Development for LMS/CMS To develop and deploy Private Cloud using KVM Hypervisor and development of Virtual Desktop access application with HTML5 support using VNC/noVNC, SPICE and Apache Guacamole applications.

4. Experience (Essential): 2 Years‟ experience in Linux Server Administration, Hypervisor Configuration and Management (KVM, Citrix & vSphere), Virtual Networking using Open vSwitch and Backup Server Configuration & management using Veeam or Vembu or any similar solution. Knowledge in Docker, Docker Compose and Grafana.

5. Consolidat ed Salary in 25,000 to 35000

6. Job Description: To configure and manage Linux Servers, Hypervisors (KVM, Citrix & vSphere), Virtual Networking using Open vSwitch and Backup Servers like Veeam or Vembu or any other similar application. To configure and manage Docker, Docker Compose and Grafana

 

1. Post Name: Resource Person 2 (Accounts)

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Essential Qualification: Graduation in Commerce from recognized university/Institution with 60% marks with Diploma in Finance. Or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from recognized university/Institution with 60% marks. Or MBA (Finance) with 60% marks.

4. Experience (Essential): Post qualification experience in the area of commercial finance and accounts preferably in Govt. Organization/Autonomous Body/PSU/Industrial Establishment of repute and should also have working knowledge of Tally and computer preferably NIELIT „ÇCC‟ or higher. 5 Years for (a) 2 Years for (b) and (c)

5. Consolidat ed Salary in 24,000 to 30,000

6. Job Description: Recording day to day transactions in Tally. Preparation of Budget, finalization of accounts and conversant with Govt. of India rules and regulations.  TDS and GST filing. Assist in day to day Accounts activities.

Pay Scale: INR 24000 - 50000(Per Month)

Age Limit: 40Years

Selection Procedure

1. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee selection.

2. Shortlisted candidates will be informed for Interview through Video Conferencing on 17/02/2022

3. Selection of candidates for appointment to the above-mentioned positions will be based on the performance of the candidates in the online interview/online written test and as found eligible as per prescribed criteria.
