Educational Qualification & Experience:PhD Degree in Science or in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent in Hydrology/Hydrogeology/ Geo-informatics/ Water Resources/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Civil Engineering/Geophysics with numerical modelling knowledge.
Skills:Numerical modelling, knowledge in hydrology, hydrogeology, geo-informatics, water resources, remote sensing and GIS, civil engineering, or geophysics. Research and analytical skills.
Age Limit:Maximum 35 years as on the date of the interview (14.08.2026). Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically Handicapped candidates.
Salary (per month): Consolidated amount: ₹56,000 per month + HRA (as applicable). An increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review.

Walk-in-Interview Details & Procedure
Venue: National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee, Uttarakhand.
Date & Time: 14th August 2026 at 11:00 AM. Candidates may report one hour before the interview time.
Candidates who wish to attend the walk-in interview must follow the procedure below:

Key Instructions for Candidates
