Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D, MD Pathology
Applications are invited from eligible candidates by speed post only for the following posts under the project entitled "MYAS-NIN Department of Sports Sciences under Indian Institute of Sports sciences & Research (I/SSR) of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), GOl" at this Institute.

3. Essential Qualifications: Candidate should possess 1 class Master's degree in Physiology or Zoology and Ph.D from a recognized university with atleast 2 years R&D/teaching experience OR MBBS MD Physiology with 2 years of R&D teaching Experience
4. Desirable: Knowledge and experience related to Physiological Mechanisms in exercise and experimental Physiology. Working experience with Sports persons/Athletes Independently initiating and handling research projects related to exercise physiology and or related areas
5. Consolidated salary: Rs.50,000/- fixed per month without any other allowances
6. Tenure: Upto 28.10.2022
7. Place of work: ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad

Selection Procedure
After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be displayed on the official website www.nin.res.in for online interviews. Based on the Selection Committee's decision, the applications will be shortlisted and the link will be sent to the shortlisted candidates for online Interviews through Video calll Video-Conferencing The candidates have to make their own arrangements for Video Call/ Video Conferencing. The applicants are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.

The last date for receiving of applications will be 21 days from the date of uploading the advertisement in ICMR-NIN and ICMR websites or IUFEB Z022_Applications received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances. National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
