Educational Qualification: B.Sc
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post in the project entitled "Functiona/ Assessment of active and Secretory IgA targeted and non-targeted bacteria/ groups in Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM)" funded by ICMR at this Institute.
1. Position: Project Research Assistant
2. No of Post: 01
3. Qualification: Graduate in Science (Life Science) from a recognized University with 3 years work experience from a recognized Institution or Master's degree in the relevant subject.
4. Desirable: Post Graduation in Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry)
5. Nature Of Duties: Fecal DNA/RNA Extraction, Flow Cytometry
6. Salary: Rs.32,350/-p.m. fixed without any other allowances
7. Tenure: Upto 31.7.2022 (Extendable to another 4 months)
8. Place of work: ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.

Selection Procedure
After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be informed on the same day for Walk-in-interview. The candidates have to make their own arrangements for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
How to Apply:
1. Date and time: 19th April, 2022 at 11.30 am onwards
2. Venue: Conference Hall, ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.
3. Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on the date of Walk-in-interview between 10:30 A.M. and 11:30 A.M. at ICMR - National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.
4. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the Institute after 11:30 A.M. under any circumstances.
5. The Candidates may download the application form from www.nin.res.in If the candidates are not able to download the application form, the same will be provided to the candidates at the venue on the date of Walk-in-Interview at ICMR - NIN.
6. Candidates have to bring one set of photocopies of certificates along with all the original certificates and also a latest photograph.
7. The applicants are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
