Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post under the project entitled "MYAS-NI-Department of Sports Sciences under Indian Institute of Sports Sciences & Research (IISSR) of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), GOI" at this Institute
1. Position: Project Consultant (Communication and Journalism)
2. No of vacancies: 1 Position
3. Essential Qualifications: Master's Degree from a recognized University in Communication and Journalism with 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized Institute.
4. Desirable: Teaching/Research experience to Sports persons Teaching Nutrition Communication for Health promotion
5. Nature of duties: Conduct outreach activities in the field of Sports Assisting in Editing Reports/Briefs Developing Innovative Communication Material
6. Consolidated pay: Rs.50,000/-p.m. fixed without any other allowances
7. Tenure: Upto 28.10.2022 and extendable for one more year
8. Place of work: ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on the date of Walk-in-interview between 9:30 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. at ICMR National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.
2. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the Institute after 10:30 A.M. under any circumstances.
3. The Candidates may download the application form from wwvw.nin.res.in
4. If the candidates are not able to download the application form, the same will be provided to the candidates at the venue on the date of Walk-in-Interview at ICMR NIN.
5. Candidates have to bring one set of photocopies of certificates along with all the original certificates and also a latest photograph.
6. After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be informed on the same day for Walk-in-interview.
7. The candidates have to make their own arrangements for attending the Walk-in-Interview
8. The applicants are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.
9. Date and time: 5th May 2022 at 10.30 a.m.

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
