Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following post/position for ad-hoc intramural research projects funded by ICMR-NIN 1. Position: Senior Research Fellow (Non-Medical) 2. No of Posts: 1 No. 3. Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc (Life Sciences) with 2 years of research experience. 4. Desirable: Experience in Molecular biology and Flow Cytometry. Preference will be given to candidate having publications in the desired areas. 5. Consolidated Salary/Stipend : Rs.35,000/- plus HRA. 6. Tenure: One year, extendable for one more year based on the performance 7. Place of work :NIN, Hyderabad. 1. Position: Senior Research Fellow (Non-Medical) 2. No of Posts: 1 No. 3. Qualification: 1st class M.Sc in Life Sciences preferably Biochemistry or Biotechnology with 2 years research experience 4. Desirable: Experience in conducting animal experiments and Lab analysis such as Biochemical & Molecular methods and should be atleast one research publication. 5. Consolidated Salary/Stipend : Rs.35,000/- plus HRA. 6. Tenure: One year, extendable for one more year based on the performance 7. Place of work :NIN, Hyderabad.

Selection Procedure
After Scrutiny/Verification, the names of eligible candidates will be informed on same day for interview.

1. Applications will be received from the individuals by hand duly filled in the prescribed format on the date of Walk-in-Interview between 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
2. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the Institute after 11.00 a.m under any circumstances
3. The candidates may download the application from the Link:http:/L/nin.res.in/employment/ Application Form.pdf.
4. The candidates are required to bring all the originals certificates along with a set of self attested Photostat copy of certificates (i.e. educational / professional qualification / Caste Certificates / Publications if any).
5. The candidates have to make their own arrangements for attending the Walk-in-Interview
6. After verification of the applications, the name of eligible candidates will be informed on the same day for Walk-in-Interview
7. The applicants are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.
8. Candidates who have completed Ph.D or submitted thesis are not eligible to apply.
9. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason(s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained

National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) was founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as 'Beri-Beri' Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In 1928, It emerged as full-fledged "Nutrition Research Laboratories" (NRL) with Dr McCarrison being appointed as its first Director. NIN was was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
