Applications in the prescribed format are invited for the post of Research Associate (one). Interested and eligible candidate can email the PI with their CV and documents. An online Interview will be conducted on 04/01/2022 from 10.30 A.M. in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. 1. Post Name: Research Associate 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Project Title: “Development of Sustainable Metal Casting Technology for Low Greenhouse Emission” 4. Tenure of Scheme & Assignment: 8 months or till project end date (31st Aug 2022) 5. Monthly fellowship Rs. 47,000.00 + 16% HRA 6. Essential qualifications: PhD. (awarded/thesis submitted), or M.E./M.Tech. Degree in Metallurgical / Mechanical / Production or any other relevant engineering branch with 3-4 years experience in Industry or Research. Candidates with 1-2 SCI publications will be preferred. 7. Desirable qualification: Knowledge of foundry technology, solidification, Design and simulation. 8. Other skills: Smart, effective communication and writing skills (English), management skills, leadership. 9. The above position is purely temporary for 8 months or till 31st Aug 2022 10. Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular/part time appointments in this institute or any other institutes during this period. 11. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature and the appointment shall be co-terminus with the project.
