National Institute of Technology Raipur has invited online applications for 37 Non-Faculty Group B and Group C vacancies through Notification No./NITRR/R-1/Advt./2026/1035. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Superintendent: First Class Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised University/Institute, OR Master's Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade. Knowledge of computer applications (Word Processing, Spreadsheet) required.
• Technical Assistant: First Class Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree / Diploma in the relevant discipline as per specific department requirements.
• Senior Assistant: Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognised board with minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spreadsheet.
• Senior Technician: Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science (including Chemistry as one of the subjects) from a Government-recognised board with at least 60% marks.
• Technician: Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science / ITI / Diploma in Engineering from a Government-recognised Polytechnic/Institute/Board as per department requirements.
• Office Attendant: Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognised board.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Age Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years | OBC – 3 years | PwBD – 10 years | Departmental – 5 years (as per Government of India rules).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for NIT Raipur Non-Faculty Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Screening Test: A screening test will be conducted to shortlist eligible candidates. The exact pattern (objective/descriptive) will be as prescribed by the Institute in the detailed notification.
2. Skill Test / Typing Test: Applicable to posts where specific skills are required (e.g., typing for Senior Assistant with minimum 35 WPM speed).
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents for verification at the time of the selection process.

Important Clause: If the number of eligible applicants exceeds the prescribed limit, the Institute may conduct a screening test to shortlist candidates. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the selection process.
