Educational Qualification:
Young Professional (Agriculture): Diploma in Agriculture/ Horticulture.
Junior Engineer (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical and electronics engineering.
Experience:
Young Professional (Agriculture): Minimum 5 years of experience with Government/ Non-Government Organisation in the field of Agriculture/Natural farming/Horticulture.
Junior Engineer (Electrical): Minimum 10 years of experience in the relevant field and with Rural Development Institutions of state or central Government.

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years.

It is a premier national centre of excellence in rural development and Panchayati Raj. National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) is recognised internationally as one of the UN-ESCAP Centres of Excellence, it builds capacities of rural development functionaries, elected representatives of PRIs, bankers, NGOs and other stakeholders through inter-related activities of training, research and consultancy.
